Questions & Answers

Week of May 14, 2017

 1. LORD, will you help me to be free from things on my mind this morning for at least one minute?

2. This is what I would like to experience:

  •    Form your question in your own mind that you want The LORD to answer.
  • Then Journal with Him or pray to Him.

  • __________ __________ __________ _____ _______

Thank you, LORD, Now, help me to pray in a

succinct way and to the point.

We no longer have a Newspaper, The Source Within, so we will be teaching right here on our Website.  If you are interested in receiving something extra, please send us an email: pogletree@outlook.com.

We do want to hear from you.  We do not know what you want unless you tell us.

We are certain that you have as many questions as we do, but may feel that Our Father will reveal to us what we need to know when the time is right.

Let us remember that Jesus said, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you; for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7,8.

Therefore, we are encouraged to ask to receive an answer to those things we do not understand.  Who better to ask than Our Father and The LORD Jesus Christ?

We do want you to know that many questions were asked, but sometimes
there were no answers.  It was stated that
our world was unable to handle the answers at this time.  Also, when we ask the Holy Angels questions, they must first get permission from THE FATHER BEFORE THEY CAN GIVE US THE ANSWER.  That is one reason why it appears to take so much time for THE FATHER to answer us.

Below are questions that were asked from March 28, 1986 to the present moment.  We trust that some of these questions are questions you too, have asked.

Always remember to ask Our Father or The LORD Jesus Christ, "How does this question and answer affect me?  Or, in what way does this question and answer affect me?"

To Yeshua—Asked on 03-22-2006

Question:
a. Master, what does Yeshua mean when he says, “The Father and I are One?"

Answer:
a. That is very simple.  When you are one with anything, you take on the characteristics of what that “THING" is.  When it comes to The Father, you feel as The Father feels, think as the Father thinks, see as The Father sees, know as The Father knows! In fact, since everything is of Goodness, because that is what that is, you are total goodness, never more than The Father, but equal to Him!  It means every attribute in you is lifted to its highest level, for that is where God is—His Highest Level!  As you reach this High Level, everything moves when you come around.  You must learn to accept this. At first, it will feel like you are alone, because no one else appears like this.  However, you are receiving respect. You will find your body will also change. You will not feel the same in it and that is because your soul is changing. Therefore, the house, the temple in which the soul resides, must change to reflect its beauty.  You may even find yourself looking much, much younger.  People will be unable to tell what your year of birth is.  Your spiritual climate will be different, but none of this are you to give great thought or concern.  It is The Father expressing Himself through you.

QUESTION:
a. Yeshua, will my motive have anything to do with my actions?
Yeshua’s Answer:

a. You must always know your motive for everything you do.  Are you doing it for ego, for good or for praise?  For what reason do you do it?  The Father is Lord over all and the slightest particle of any thought unlike The Father is detected.  Remember The Father is very, very sensitive.  The Father feels one minuscule of the tiniest degree of good.

Questions and Answers

QUESTION:
a. Do we realize how important it is to become sensitive to our thoughts?
     ANSWER:
a. This is a “Thought World” in which we live. Perhaps, it is time that we realize this.  Maybe, James Weldon Johnson realized this when he wrote a poem about the Creation.

To Yeshua—Asked on 02-18-2006

Question:

a.  Master, in Isaiah 5:13, it speaks of sending one into exile, because of not caring about God.   Is the Old Testament about what happens when we do not give our subconscious mind the affirmative thoughts and the New Testament about the direction to give the subconscious and what happens when we do?

Yeshua's Answer:

a.That is one phase of it, but I am given to you as an example that you may also understand that the important thing is not what "the world" thinks, but what “each” individual thinks and feels about The Father!  The “world” will not like what you do BUT the Father is what counts.

QUESTION:

a. Yeshua, is that not what the Old Testament is saying also? The“world” did not like Moses – he had a hard time with the Hebrews.

Yeshua’s Answer:

a. Not exactly.  Moses was chosen—I was given.

Our Questions and Answers from Us to Yeshua

QUESTION:

a. Are you trying to please Our Father or people?

Yeshua's ANSWER:

a.The answer is to be watchful of good rather than of apparent error.  It is an error to try to please people and disobey Our Father.  Since we grow to be like that which we behold, that on which we keep our mind centered, it is wise by all means to magnify only the good in our thoughts and in our life by seeing and thinking about it, both as relating to ourselves and to other persons.  We use wisdom when we deny error appearances whenever thoughts present themselves in our mind.  We are to cease to give error thoughts further attention by turning persistently to the good.

To Yeshua—Asked on 04-19-2006
Question:  Master, what is selfishness?
Yeshua's Answer:  Selfishness is when you think only of what you want at the expense of another becoming uplifted.  Let us place more emphasis on being kind and enjoy seeing how that person laughs and enjoys the moment.  Let us place our thoughts on others that your own focus is for a life well lived that your focus may be only on well living; thereby it comes into our own life.  The selfish person cannot see this, for that person feels he/she is being left out, is just existing and that their happiness is most important. However, the missing link is this.  In order for us to be happy, we must make others happy.  It begins like this.

The Law of the Circle
Ourselves Looking at Others

In whatever way you look at others, it comes back to you.  Whatever you desire for others, it comes back to you..

Our Questions and Answers from Us to Yesua

Questions:
a.  Do you understand what this says?
    ANSWER:

Yes, Yeshua,  I understand that whatever I want, I am to see others having the same.  The picture is in my mind and my subconscious thinks on the pictures I give and the pictures are what I am seeing in my own mind.

To Our Father—Asked on 09-05-2006

Question:  Do we think automatically that nothing can be better than what we had in the past?
Answer:  Yes, and that is limitation!  What we really do is then blame The Father that He does not answer, and how can He, when we are the ones who say that the past is what we live now!

Our Questions and Answers from Us to Yeshua

Questions:
a. Yeshua how do we change it?

          Answer:
a. You analyze the present, question it until you exhaust every ounce of worth from it. Get all that you can out of it.  Laziness is an error.

b. When you change it, that is the answer to why others want to take what another has worked out, questioned and gotten all the worth from it and the other person wants to take what you have worked out?

c. There is no future in trying to take what does not belong to you, no matter how much you want it!  You see man "thinks" he is progressing when he has money, but that is not the growth Our Father sees.  Our Father looks at the HEART!  That is where the growth is.  If you get the bonus before the growth, you must work hard to keep it, but if you get the growth, bonuses follow you, they are attracted to you, come to you in abundant ways.  The Father wants His children to grow!

Question:

a.  Master, for what reason are some healings not permanent?

Answers:

a.
When My Father heals, He heals everything, but He cannot
make you keep the healing. You have to do that yourself.  (There was a long pause at this point.)  Another question followed from My Father?

The Father's Question:
a.  Do you want a complete healing?

The Father's Answer:
a.  If you really  want a complete healing, that means you are ready to be youthful, healthy,  loving,  kind, happy, pleasant to be around, joyful, spiritual, faithful, and wise.

Our Questions and Answers from Us to You

Questions:

a.  Are you ready to  allow yourself to be taught?  Are you ready to be different, to be truly whole?  Are you ready to feel My Father's Presence as being youthful?

b.  Are you ready for that?

c.  Can you open your mind, your heart, your soul, your very spirit to Him?

Answers:
a.  All these things are for us to do.  It is what Our Father has asked each of His children to do!
b.  This answer is what we call “change.” Change is the door that many of us would  rather not open.
c.  Healing also means that one becomes youthful and  many of us are too tied into age and in getting old to even think of being youthful.

d.  Have you ever thought about the fact that if we  are created in His Image and after His Likeness, we can never age?

To Yeshua (the Jewish name of Jesus)

Question: Yeshua, how do we make such a mess of our life?  We know that Our Father loves us.  We know that Our Father has only one plan.   We know that we are to do good, live only good and speak only good and understand only good.  Yet, we have set up trouble for ourselves and we now want Our Father, YOU to clean up our mess.  How did we do it?  At the time we gave not a thought about the consequences that would follow.

Yeshua's Answer:  When you fail to obey My Father, you lose your connection to His constant guidance that comes to you.  You open yourself to negative influences from your peers and from the Prince of this world (the evil one, also known as Satan and the enemy).  Their words sound good, yet, if you follow them, you land in trouble outside My Father's protection.

Our Questions and Answers from Us to Each of You.

Questions:

a.  Do you believe the teachings of Yeshua?

b.  Do you read the Scriptures or simply rest on the laurels of what someone else says?

Our Answers:

a.  We were taught (by Rev. Fred and Rev. Pat) that we were to READ and understand for ourselves.  Even Dr. Holmes stated that we were to do this for ourselves and never take what he said as the final word.  He said that we were to put our understanding to the test.

b.  We are to always have confidence in ourselves that The Lord God Almighty will guide us in all our ways, and will bring whatever information we need in a way that we can understand, and live in a simple fashion.

To Yeshua (Jesus)

Question: Please tell me about This Hidden Power.

Answer:  This Hidden Power will not allow you to hold onto the old.  When the old is forgiven, deleted, absorbed, consumed, destroyed it must not be put where it can be recalled. The old and new cannot live in the same mind at the same time.  This Hidden Power is only in the NOW.

Our Questions and Answers from Us to You

a.  Questions:  Do you try to hold on to what you are familiar with?  Are you afraid to let go of that which is no longer of use to you?

a. Answer:  We know that change is difficult, but it is wise to LET GO AND LET GOD.

To Our Father

Question:  Father, for what reason do those who do wicked things to others live so very long?

Our Father's Answer:  If I took them from this  lifetime, they would only return to be worse than before.  I give them a chance to improve themselves.

Our Questions and Answers from Us to You

a.  Question:  Are you careful about what you think, what you do and what you say to another and to yourself?  From the answer Our Father gave, it appears He really loves all of His Children no matter what we do or how we act.  However, He simply wants us to keep our soul pure, to turn to TRUTH, and worship Him.  Is that too difficult for us to do?
a. Our answer:  We are to understand that the word “wicked” has synonyms that makes one believe that being wicked means that you are good, great, terrific, cool and impressive.  There were words also that, describe wicked as something wonderful.  However, we are speaking about wicked as meaning distressing, dreadful, awful, atrocious, appalling and terrible.  In the Science of Mind Textbook, page 494 under the subtopic—WICKEDNESS IN HIGH PLACES (Eph. 6:12), Dr. Holmes tells us what this means in the law of righteousness.“The mental law is neutral, plastic, receptive and creative.  There is a right and wrong use of this law, just as there is a right and wrong use of any other law.”
b.  It is wise never to invert, reverse or turn the law of righteousness upside down or misuse the powers of the mind.

To Our Father

Question:  It is so hard for me God.  Can You help to
make it easier?

a. Answer:  This life is not about easy.  It is about becoming!

Our Questions and Answers from Us to You

a.  Question:  What is it that you do not want to do, but Our Father has asked you to do?  Does it involve forgiveness?  Do you understand “becoming”?
b.  Answer:  In our Science of Mind textbook there are
nine (9) references regarding “becoming.”  However, the references refer to Our Father and not to Our Father’s Children—you and I.  Thus, this does not really help us in understanding what we are to do if this life is about “becoming.”  In reading the Class Work of Mildred Mann who taught thirty-six classes in New York on “Being and Becoming” shows that this idea requires body, mind, soul and a lot of work.  If we understand Yeshua (Jesus) and his teaching, we will know that he is our example teaching us how to “become” like the Christ that is within each of us.  I am certain this is what Our Father was saying when He said this Life is about “becoming.”  I (Rev. Pat) says to all of you, “Study the teachings of Yeshua (Jesus) and become familiar with THE CHRIST that lives in you.  Forget about an easy life or a hard life.  Simply know THE CHRIST in every aspect, for that is how we “BECOME.”
c.  Mildred Mann  was a student of Emmett Fox.  She founded THE SOCIETY OF PRAGMATIC MYSTICISM in Vermont.  She made her transition in 1971.You can find some of her books on Amazon.com.
