WHEN IS THE LORD JESUS RETURNING Monday, July 27, 2020 Christ is coming back. They say it has been 2000 years. What they do not understand is that The LORD’s time is NOT the same as our time. To understand it even more is to know that one day in our time is a THOUSAND YEARS in The LORD’s time. Therefore, it has only been two days in The LORD’S time since He left the Earth. Besides, we are so much out of order and have so much to learn that it is wonderful that He has NOT returned. It would be magnificent for us to practice being MORE like Our LORD Jesus before He returns. Monday, June 29, 2020 WE MEET ONLY OURSELVES Rev. Ike said, "You meet no one but you." In other words, as long as we remain in our own state of consciousness and never seek to expand our thoughts, we remain ignorant of what Jesus is saying to us. We cannot perceive what we do not know and we cannot know what we do not accept. * * * * * * * * * WHAT DO WE MEAN BY "DEVOTIONAL"? You may have wondered just what do we mean by this word. I know that even though I am an ordained Minister, I have wondered and did NOT write anything here, because I was never taught exactly what it means! I know that sounds crazy and wrong, but it is true. We only do what we know and if we do not know, we will never put it into practice. My husband and I studied THE SCIENCE OF MIND for 20 years, then enrolled in the School of Ministry in THE SCIENCE OF MIND and became ordained Ministers. We taught classes in this study, opened a church "UNIVERSAL WISDOM FELLOWSHIP" for 20 years before we closed it. Yet, we were never taught anything about a DEVOTIONAL or did we teach it. Oh, we taught how to pray and everything about prayer, but never did we say a word about DEVOTIONALS. So, what is it? A devotional is a prayer that we give worship to or reverence. In other words, what we devote ourselves to in prayer and worship in our life. Now that we know, let us begin with the greatest prayer that we can that will make a mighty affect upon us. We will give a new Devotional each week. * * * * * * * Monday, May 18, 2020 O Heavenly Father, LORD of my life, I come to You with an open heart that I may learn more about You. I worship You, Love You and devote my life to You. I am grateful for all that You have done for me, the guidance, the love, the tenderness and the joy that You show me in this wonderful life. You are peace to me, joy to me and a happiness that I cannot express in words. I am Yours. I give you my heart, my spirit, my soul and the very beingness that exist within me. I love You. I let this be and so it is. Amen. |
